Dragon Ball fans have something to celebrate. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will soon be getting a new DLC, and it's not just any DLC. Entitled DAIMA: Adventure Through the Demon Realm Part 1, this content will arrive on July 17, 2025. And it brings a real breath of fresh air to the Kakarot experience. Goku becomes small again... and the adventure changes tone for Dragon Ball Kakarot This new DLC features a miniature version of Goku, along with new characters like Glorio, Shin, and Panzy. The story takes place in a brand new setting: the mysterious world of demons, directly inspired by the universe of Dragon Ball DAIMA. Here, there is no question of reliving the Frieza or Cell arc for the tenth time. We are going on an original adventure, with a lighter, almost magical atmosphere, but still faithful to the spirit of the series.
The heart of the Dragon Ball Kakarot DLC is exploration. We cross new areas, full of secrets to discover. The developers promise environments faithful to the anime, with real attention to detail. On the combat side, there is also something new. Goku will be able to use his magic staff in a new way. We will also be able to count on an original tool, the Medi-Bug, which offers various effects in the middle of a fight. Not forgetting the support of allies, like Panzy, who will add a strategic touch to the battles.
A two-part DLC, designed for the long term
This is just the beginning. This Dragon Ball Z DAIMA DLC is planned in two parts. The second will arrive between January and March 2026. Enough to keep players engaged for the long term, and allow them to enjoy a complete adventure, intelligently divided.
With this new content, DBZ Kakarot tries something different. Far from the great classics already seen and reviewed, this DLC offers a new angle, at the same time cuter, more mysterious and more narrative. A good way to rediscover the universe of Goku in a completely new light. And for those who do not yet know Dragon Ball DAIMA, it is also a great gateway.
