Forza Motorsport: for the 20th anniversary of the series, a legendary circuit arrives for free in the game

This month, the Forza Motorsport license celebrates its 20th anniversary. Indeed, it was in May 2005 that the first installment arrived on Xbox, before being entitled to eight other installments on Xbox360, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

Today, Microsoft is unveiling the first festivities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its legendary license.

Forza Motorsport: 20 years of automotive passion

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of its license (on May 3rd), Turn10 has announced the deployment of a free update. This update provides access to the legendary Japanese Fujimi Kaido circuit, a racing legend, featuring over 140 turns, over 800 meters of elevation gain, and 16 kilometers of racing. The faithfully reproduced circuit is available now on PC and Xbox Series X/S. This update also improves the Driveatar AI and adds public encounters, allowing players to join other players on a circuit without restrictions. These public encounters were eagerly awaited by the community. They will feature open track days and drift encounters, where you can vote on the next circuit to play on. These are multiplayer events that will include a 24/7 Fujimi Kaido Drift Meet and Greet, as well as a track day at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

Among the free additions, Turn10 has updated the game's playlist with cult tracks from Forza Motorsport 3, 4, 5, and 6. Regarding paid content, a new DLC is available for 4.99 euros, allowing you to get five new cars with the Forza Motorsport: Racing Heroes Car Pack:

  • 2024 Ford Mustang GT3
  • 2008 Mazda Furai
  • 2001 Formula Drift No. 215 Nissan Silvia Spec-R
  • 1997 Toyota Mark II Tourer V JZX100
  • 1984 De Tomaso Pantera GT5

For the moment, Microsoft and Turn10 have not yet communicated on other potential events to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the license. To date, these are the only festivities planned to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the license. It's not much, we hope that other surprises will come throughout the year.
