From Albion, the PUCKS arrive in Paris

From Albion, the PUCKS arrive in Paris

In the summer, the chairs will be moved to the terrace, but for now, we'll stay inside, around a game that brings us together and relaxes us all at once, in a bar with acidulous, neon, and refined colors, the careful design and the atmosphere we love in bars across the Channel.

It was me who discovered this at London, almost 5 years ago now, when I was working there.” Thibault Lièvre, co-founder.

The rules of PUCKS are simple: aim accurately, avoid certain areas or accumulate points by aiming at moving targets, depending on the modes you choose, but above all, push your opponents without getting ejected in turn and gently taunt them while doing so.

It's simple, effective, a little technical... and addictive. Enough to bring together fans of pétanque, mölkky or Breton pucks in this city where The gardens are so rare and not dependent on the weather.

There are several cameras that track the pucks in real time.” Thibault Lièvre, co-founder.

On shuffleboard, in other words this long, glass-smooth track, metal pucks follow one another and collide to separate the players (up to 8) who challenge each other in pairs to accumulate the most points. Just a warning: the machine that keeps score sometimes has more of a competitive spirit than everyone else around the table.

What makes PUCKS different is also the place itself. It is intended as a social bar, in the Anglo-Saxon spirit: we play, we drink, we challenge each other and no pressure... except that at the bar.
The menu is rich and varied both in terms of drinks and in terms of finger food to share. Signature cocktails with or without alcohol, craft brewer, tea, coffee, artisanal fruit juices, something to satisfy all palates and warmly accompany the moment.

So who is it for? For groups of friends on a spree, colleagues after work, or couples looking for a different kind of aperitif. Games last an hour, the pace is fluid, the challenges progressive, and the rounds balanced. In short, everything you need for a successful evening in a spirit that is both fun and relaxed.
