Since its release, Lies of P has established itself as one of the most solid Soulslike games of recent years, both respectful of the genre's codes and with a strong visual identity inspired by the French Belle Époque. While the culture of perseverance is commendable, it leaves out a portion of the audience, put off by the demanding gameplay. With the upcoming arrival of its DLC Overture, the Neowiz studio has decided to take a step forward by integrating several difficulty levels.
From the easiest to the most complicated
Thus, the basic difficulty mode, now called “Legendary Stalker,” will be accompanied by two more accessible modes: “Butterfly’s Guidance” and “Awakened Puppet.” This will allow everyone to enter the dark and demanding world of Krat without creating excessive frustration. The update bringing this new feature will be free, unlike the DLC which will be paid.
For fans of extreme challenges, two new modes will also be released: Battle Memories, to relive boss fights with five difficulty levels, and Death March, a hardcore boss rush with limited lives and resources. Purists should be happy.
