Pokémon TCG Pocket: Easy Mode for Miracle Picks is back!

Pokémon TCG Pocket: Easy Mode for Miracle Picks is back!

Tired of missing your friends' secret cards on Pokémon TCG Pocket? We've got you covered. As if to make up for the frustrating new animation for the Miraculous Draws, Pokémon and DeNA have decided to make them a little simpler. When you log into the app, you may have noticed the return of the "peek" banner just above the Miraculous Draw button. This is great news for players who are just starting to collect cards from the Astral Guardians" booster packs.

How does the "peek" work?

For the duration of this new "peek" campaign, players can get an extra chance to find the card they want in the Miraculous Draws. To do this, simply proceed as usual. After paying for the miracle draw – in vitality or hourglasses – the first press on one of the cards reveals its appearance. If it's the right card, just click on it a second time when the preview disappears. If not, all that's left is to cross your fingers and try one of the other four.

However, it seems that the peek is not systematically activated on miracle draws. The developers have been careful not to reveal the secrets of this new mechanic and prefer to leave us in the dark by specifying that only "certain miracle draws" can benefit from it. At the time of writing, there is still no explanation as to why some draws do not trigger the preview. However, it is not impossible that the trigger rate will decrease the rarer the cards offered.

Until when can we take advantage of this feature?

The current sneak peek campaign began on Monday, May 5th at 8 a.m. (French time) and will end on May 12th at 7:59 a.m. (French time). If you have a lot of Miracle Hourglasses in your possession, it's high time to spend them. Currently, the best way to obtain large quantities of Miracle Hourglasses is to complete the missions of the Pokémon TCG Pocket Premium Pass.

As a reminder, this is billed at €9.99 per month and allows access to one additional booster opening per day, as well as special missions and an exclusive cosmetic shop. Additionally, the current premium items are in the colors of shiny Charizard to accompany the boosters themed Bright Revelry, as well as Rowlet for the new Astral Guardians collection inspired by the Alola region.
