PS Plus Extra: June 2025 releases revealed, there are some excellent games

Summer and its announcement season are always synonymous with surprises. Xbox Game Pass members are always on the alert, and can expect a few unexpected additions during this period. For PS Plus subscribers, it's more routine, Summer Game Fest or not. Those who opted for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium will still be entitled to a new day-one this same month with FBC Firebreak, the multiplayer game taking place in the Control universe and which will be available on June 17, 2025. But as always, for new features to arrive, others must bow out. The list of PS Plus Extra releases is already known, and we're a long way from the carnage of recent weeks.

The departures of the PS Plus Extra in June 2025

We're used to it now. The month of May is always marked by a significant wave of departures from the catalog. Sony systematically does its big spring cleaning at this time, and no fewer than 20 games left the service at the beginning of the week. Rest assured, the next departures will clearly be less painful. Back to normal, then, with only a handful of unfortunate exits. As usual, PlayStation communicates well in advance about the releases of the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalogs to give subscribers time to try the titles concerned, finish them, or even platinum them for the bravest. So there are only six games that will be removed from the service as of Tuesday, June 17, 2025 before 11 a.m.. Among them, two should particularly catch your attention.

On the one hand, the very good Monster Hunter Rise, in case you're not already busy with Worlds, and especially the excellent Inscryption, an absolute must-play if you haven't tried it yet. Without further ado, here is the list of PS Plus Extra and Premium releases for June 2025:

  • After Us
  • Avicii Invector
  • Inscryption
  • Kayak VR: Mirage
  • Monster Hunter Rise
  • Rogue Legacy 2

How long to finish and platinum them?

So the clock is ticking for these games. Whether you just want to finish them before they leave, or even platinum them, we'll give you a little boost in your business as always. As usual, we've compiled a list of the time needed to either complete the main quest for PS Plus Extra releases or to obtain Platinum.

  • After Us: around 7.5 hours to complete and a maximum of 20 hours to obtain Platinum.
  • Avicii Invector: less than 3 hours to complete, a maximum of 15 hours to obtain Platinum.
  • Inscryption: less than 13 hours to complete, around 35 hours to obtain Platinum.
  • Kayak VR: Mirage: 3 hours to complete the main story, around 12 hours to obtain Platinum.
  • Monster Hunter Rise: 23 hours to complete, over 250 hours to obtain Platinum.
  • Rogue Legacy 2: a little longer 25 hours to complete, about double that to get Platinum.
