Razer Blade 14 (2025): slimming down, OLED panel and reduced price

Forget the iterations that follow one another and look the same: with its Blade 14 version 2025, Razer is changing several aspects of its formula – as it had already done for the Blade 16.

On the menu: the classic CPU/GPU update of course, but also a slimmed-down chassis, a brand new OLED screen, and the cherry on the keyboard, a lower starting price.

Thinner, lighter

The Razer Blade range includes three models: Razer 14, Razer 16 and Razer 18. The model discussed here is therefore the smallest of the trio. And when you opt for such a format, weight and thickness count double. Razer has revised its copy in this sense by making its machine both thinner and lighter. Indeed, the Blade 14 version 2025 is 15.7 mm thick, compared to 17.99 mm for the 2024 edition. Decrescendo also on the scale, with 1.63 kg, against 1.84 kg previously.

This slimming cure has not been at the expense of the internal components. The aging Ryzen 9 8945HS (8 cores / 16 threads in Zen 4) gives way to the contemporary Ryzen AI 9365 (10 cores / 20 threads mixing Zen 5 and Zen 5c, in a 4 + 6 configuration), compatible with Copilot +. This chip is capable of managing up to 64 GB of LPDDR5X-8000.

Regarding the graphics card, the GeForce RTX Ada Lovelace (40 Series) gives way to the GeForce RTX Blackwell (50 Series). Still two options: RTX 5060 or RTX 5070.

An OLED screen to replace the IPS

The other major development concerns the screen. Goodbye to the 240 Hz QHD+ (2560 x 1600) IPS panel, make way for a 120 Hz 3K OLED panel. And whatever some Switch 2 advocates say, who promote an LCD screen rivaling OLED, the technological difference should clearly be felt in the display quality.

The only slight downside: the Blade 14 does not benefit from the redesigned keyboard of the Blade 16, for which the travel has been extended to 1.5 mm (compared to 1 mm here).

The Razer Blade 14 (2025) will be available in the coming days from 2299.99 euros (RTX 5060 mobile) and 2699.99 euros (RTX 5070 mobile). For comparison, the 2024 model was offered from 2499.99 euros.
