An original adventure, but faithful to the universe
The story doesn't just follow the well-known Game of Thrones plot. Here, the player embodies a bastard from a minor noble house in the North, House Tyre. With the tragic death of his brothers and a growing threat from the north, the main character embarks on a quest to restore the honor of his lineage. Political intrigue, fragile alliances, power struggles... Everything fits naturally into the lore of the saga, while offering a unique story, well integrated into the universe of George R.R. Martin.
On Steam, Kingsroad also stands out for its gameplay mechanics. Here, there are no automatic clicks or soft combat: you dodge, you parry, you counter, and you choose the right moment to strike. The action-RPG aspect is emphasized, with a real demand for timing and strategy. Three classes are available: knight, mercenary and assassin. Each has its own skills and play style.
