A whole new audience will be able to try CD Projekt's hit game. Indeed, Cyberpunk 2077 has been available on Nintendo Switch 2 since the console's launch on June 5th. The adventure in Night City is far from over. That's an understatement, considering the side projects that are flourishing around the title. A new one has just been announced and it should surprise and please fans as much as it does.
Cyberpunk 2077 plays its cards on the table
Cyberpunk 2077 fans are relatively spoiled. CD Projekt's game is stirring the imagination of external creators, with various productions that extend the experience. The most striking example is obviously the animated series Edgerunners, available on Netflix. However, it's far from the only one. The next one to see the light of day is none other than an official card game!
Recently, we told you about the set of traditional cards featuring The Witcher 3 published by Dyenamik. The manufacturer had already offered a collection dedicated to Cyberpunk 2077 before. This time, it's no longer ace, king, queen, and jack in question, but rather playing cards with their own rules, set in the futuristic universe of CD Projekt.
The studio is collaborating here with the Night Crew company for the development of "Cyberpunk Legends." This card game was designed as a gaming experience in its own right. Each deck offers its own campaign connected to the others. But be careful, the ambition is to remain accessible! No need for a game master or a lore bible to read: you have the cards in hand from the start with the promise of learning the rules "in 5 minutes".
Cyberpunk Legends presents itself as a strategy game with a scenario for games lasting 1.5 to 2 hours. Alone or with up to 4 participants in cooperation, it invites you to build your own legend by hacking the system, with crucial choices to make that can have deadly consequences. For any Night City fan, this game will not only be a great addition to your collection, but also a captivating dive into the franchise.
