Elden Ring Nightreign gets a new update, what's new?

Last week, Elden Ring Nightreign received its second update, which notably made solo expeditions a little less punishing. While waiting for the highly requested addition of the ability to launch duo games, the Elden Ring cooperative spin-off is now moving to version 1.01.02, with several changes for all platforms.

New corrective rain on Elden Ring Nightreign

Despite a very different formula from the original game, and a strong focus on three-player cooperation, Elden Ring Nightreign had a record-breaking launch. With 3.5 million sales less than a week after its release, FromSoftware's latest title has achieved the feat of placing itself in the top 10 best-selling Steam games of 2025. The renowned Japanese studio therefore does not intend to stop there, and is working hard to update it regularly, while waiting for the arrival of a first major DLC later in the year.

So enters the 1.01.2 update for Elden Ring Nightreign, which brings multi-level fixes, for all platforms, namely PC (via Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series. Here is the detail of what it brings below.

Elden Ring Nightreign Patch 1.01.2 Notes

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where the passive effect "Add (Magic/Lightning/Holy) to Weapon" applied to a bow would increase physical attack power.
  • Fixed a bug where certain indirect attacks from specific weapon skills would inflict weapon attack power and status ailments.
  • Applied a fix for a bug where weapons with the passive effect "Reduce Projectile Damage" were not included in loot from chests and downed enemies.
  • Fixed a bug where the Demonic Merchant would not spawn under certain conditions during the personal objective "Find the Demonic Merchant in Limveld" in Keeper's Memento in Elden Ring Nightreign.
  • Applied a fix for a bug where Libra, Creature of the Night, would repeatedly perform certain actions.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the game to become unstable under certain circumstances during the fight against Adel, Baron of the Night.
  • Fixed a bug where it was impossible to rescue a dying player after being grabbed by Wormface's corresponding attack.

FromSoftware notes, however, that despite the fixes in this 1.01.2 update, some of the aforementioned bugs may still occur in Elden Ring Nightreign.
