Later this year, Pokémon fans will return to Kalos in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, a spin-off series that began with Pokémon Legends: Arceus and its adventures set in Sinnoh. And while Game Freak must offer us a new region with its 10th generation of Pokémon, fans continue to imagine their own regions, sometimes with sublime results.
The Westril region and its Fakemon
Kanto, Johto, Sinnoh, Kalos, Unova, Unova, Alola, Galar, Kalos, the Pokémon regions are multiplying, in step with the new generations of the franchise. Each region comes with its share of challenges, new creatures, and new features. Regions inspired by real-life geographical areas, such as Alola and Hawaii, or Kalos and France. Many Pokémon fans imagine their own regions, and especially their own Pokémon.
We recently introduced you to the Mithraos region, designed by the artist known as dhio. This time, it's the same again with another talented creator: Saffron. This artist regularly shares his Fakemon on his Instagram account, much to the delight of his followers. But Saffron doesn't stop at creating imaginary Pokémon, as he has imagined his own region: Westril.
A region that players would explore in the hypothetical Pokémon Legends: Ranger, in which they would play as rangers, as in the eponymous saga, the last game of which was released in 2010 on Nintendo DS. A region of Westril that is full of not only new Pokémon, but especially regional forms. Axoloto, Feraligatr, Magikarp, Abo, Pokémon known to all that change Type and design here.
