Recently launched in Early Access, InZOI doesn't intend to rest on its laurels. Quite the opposite. Studio Krafton has revealed the details of its busy roadmap, which runs until the end of 2025, with some promises for 2026. All punctuated by free updates, highly anticipated additions, and a first DLC that smells of vacation... and cats.
Content for everyone, and starting this summer for inZOI
First highlight: the June 2025 update. Initially scheduled for May, it was pushed back for quality reasons. But the wait should be worth it. On the menu, the arrival of modding, the ability to use cheat codes, an adoption system, relationship improvements, dynamic physical transformations for your Zois, not to mention a series of new furniture and clothing. Enough to lay a solid foundation for the months to come.
And that's just the beginning. In August, an even more extensive update will introduce pools, a ghost mode to continue playing after a Zoi dies, an AI-assisted construction mode, and even freelance professions. We will also note an improved messaging interface, changes around parenting and a revised skill system.
InZOI is fine-tuning itself and preparing big changes
In the fall, InZOI will focus on ergonomics. October 2025 will see the arrival of more technical but much-requested adjustments: keyboard key customization, a simplified interface for moving, new outfits and furniture, and above all, improvements for mods, which should gain in stability and options.
But it's in December that things take a major turn. The game will then welcome a memory system, social reactions linked to character traits, indoor temperature management, and above all, the highly anticipated possibility of changing cities. A change of direction for a game that focuses on the constant evolution of its worlds.
A free expansion for cat lovers
At the same time, Krafton also announced its first free DLC for inZOI, Kucingku, a city inspired by Indonesia. This new tropical setting, scheduled for August 2025, will be populated by stray cats and will offer heavenly beaches, colorful reefs, and a completely different atmosphere. The perfect opportunity to test the new city-moving mechanic. Good news for players: all DLC and updates will remain free during Early Access. A generous policy, designed to attract a strong and loyal fan community.
The studio has already confirmed that a fifth patch is planned for May 2026 on inZOI. Until then, new cosmetic items (furniture, clothing) will be added regularly, at a rate of every three months. Enough to maintain interest in the long term, while building an increasingly complete game.
