He simply grabbed a large metal pair of pliers to strike the console's screen, taking care to remove the protective film first. After 50 blows, the glass layer was found to have cracked into several very fine and particularly dangerous shards.
"Most of the glass is still stuck to the LCD screen, but there are still many shards of pulverized glass and dust that could get stuck in children's fingers or eyeballs. If watching this doesn't give you confidence in the Switch 2's durability, nothing will," says the YouTuber.
Even in this state, the Nintendo Switch 2 remains functional and the videographer can continue playing Mario Kart World without too much difficulty. Some players will probably find it regrettable to put a console in this state for a YouTube video.
