Lelo F2S Review: A Coach in Your Underpants

Lelo F2S Review: A Coach in Your Underpants

No more one-way trips. This time, Lelo's new, high-end masturbator boasts an open design and some well-thought-out new features... still at a premium price.

Male sex tech at Lelo

Since its launch several years ago, the F1S has established itself as a true racing car with an impressive body and a roaring engine. While at the time, the sex toy was a successful experiment rather than a true bestseller, it became a benchmark of the genre with its subsequent iterations, the V2 and V3. The F2S crowns the range, with a (finally) accomplished product, determined to make us forget the competition.

Design and ergonomics

Until recently, the main criticism that can be made of penis masturbators lay in their design, borrowing from an explicitly outdated heritage that we would gladly do without. So it was like a UFO that Lelo launched its F1S V2 on the market. An ultra-technological masturbator with the air of a connected speaker, designed as the prototype of a new generation of male sex toys. The F1S V3 continued this effort, but retained its closed design, which was not always optimal for cleaning.

Lelo's F2S is a game changer. While the masturbator sports the same sleek lines, aluminum alloy shell, and textured silicone inner sleeve as its predecessors, it primarily offers an open, full-body design that focuses on the shaft instead of glans stimulation.

In terms of materials, there's no surprise here: the brand excels. Lelo is one of the few manufacturers to rely on pure silicone for its penis sleeves, and the F2S is no exception. The inside of the device is lined with a self-adjusting liquid silicone with flexible ribs, which promises to adapt to all body shapes through a combination of air and vacuum. A significant advancement compared to previous generations, which aims to offer an even more natural and comfortable experience.

It's difficult to criticize the toy's design, as the F2S offers such a sophisticated finish. On the top of the device, three buttons act as a control panel, while the toy has a backlit glass opening, which allows you to see its internal workings. In terms of measurements, the device is a one-size-fits-all, weighing in at 267 grams and boasting a 12 cm insertable length. The evolution over the previous model, however, lies in its open design, which allows it to adapt to any length and greatly facilitates cleaning after use.

Technology: a coach in your pocket

This is where the F2S truly stands out. Where the F1S V2 (less so the V3) resembled a brilliant, but still experimental prototype in some respects, the new masturbator refines every detail to deliver a product that is as beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside. Lelo didn't just create a high-tech masturbator, but developed a real personalized sexual training program, dedicated (among other things) to addressing premature ejaculation problems, which affect one in four people with penises in France.

The F2S thus offers two distinctive features: the Stamina Trainer mode, designed to learn how to control and delay ejaculation, and guided Kegel exercises to strengthen the male pelvic floor – these muscles essential to sexual performance. The gamification of the experience via the connected application is particularly well thought out: personal statistics, objectives to achieve, visualized progress… Everything is done to remind us of the good memories of a classic fitness application.

Lelo's new toy transforms masturbation into a workout, allowing you to gain endurance, and therefore (this is the main promise of the product) confidence. This shift from the prism of recreational masturbation to that of health is far from trivial. Clitoral stimulators have long since made the leap, and the penile sex toy market is gradually shifting towards a more holistic vision, similar to what the French brand ManWan already offers with its Evo.Wand, which can be used with or without an erection. While Lelo does not escape a certain idea of performance, by correlating the longevity of an erection to the quality of intercourse, the brand offers an interesting approach.

Connectivity at the service of performance

As with the F1S V3, the dedicated Lelo app represented a question mark: the connectivity of sex toys has often been the poor relation of the user experience. Good news: the F2S has definitely fixed the problems of its predecessors, offering an intuitive and functional interface that truly enriches the experience.

The application is divided into five distinct sections: “Home” for news and articles, “My Toys” to directly control your F2S, “Training” to access training programs, and “Profile” for your personal preferences.

The AI mode deserves special attention: thanks to the F2S’s integrated gyroscope, the device analyzes your movements and automatically adapts the intensity and vibration patterns, creating a completely personalized experience. The two independent motors, placed on either side of the sleeve, offer 14 different stimulation levels.

Finally, a successful sexual workout

In use, the F2S largely lives up to its promises. As its predecessor suggested, the device does not seek to imitate a classic sexual experience – an approach inevitably doomed to failure – but offers a new and complementary stimulation. The two motors work in synergy, creating back-and-forth effects without any manual movement, while the liquid silicone surrounds the penis for an enveloping sensation.

The noise level remains fairly low, except when all the motors are running at full power. In terms of battery life, it will take about two hours before charging.

The guided training programs are truly the main added value of the F2S. The educational approach is particularly well thought out, with progressive exercises to improve mastery. The analogy with Nintendo's Ring Fit Adventure is easy, but above all, consistent: fun, well-designed, and effective in the long term, the program, designed like a video game, has everything going for it.

The only downside to note is the lack of a storage pouch, a surprising omission for a high-end product at this price. It's also regrettable that the application is only available in English for the moment, even if its interface remains intuitive enough to be used without major difficulties.

Price and availability

The Lelo F2S is available at the recommended retail price of €199, a premium positioning, but a slight reduction compared to the F1S V3 launched at €249. It is available in two elegant colors on the official Lelo website and at specialized retailers.
