Already a week since the release of the Nintendo Switch 2! The Kyoto-based company can already congratulate itself on this launch, which is setting records one after the other. With colossal sales figures, it has already found a place in more than 3.5 million homes. Third-party publishers have decided not to miss the boat this time. Several big games are therefore planned for it, and some nice surprises could still be in store.
A mastodon soon on Nintendo Switch 2?
Last weekend was marked by announcements at the Summer Game Fest. Publishers were able to unveil their line-ups for the coming months. However, Big N remained true to itself. Preferring to save its in-house announcements for a potential future Nintendo Direct, the Switch 2 wasn't the most highlighted console during this major video game event. However, a very big game could well arrive in the catalog upon its release.
According to one of Kotaku's senior reporters, Ethan Gach, anonymous sources are talking about plans for Call of Duty Black Ops 7 on Nintendo Switch 2. The attentive public will have noticed that the new console did not appear in the announcement trailer unveiled at the Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday for the upcoming 2025 installment. Players could, however, be in for a nice surprise.
According to Gach, Microsoft and Nintendo are working together on the port of Call of Duty Black Ops 7. So far, the franchise hasn't made its way onto the Big N's hybrid consoles. This would therefore be a significant addition for the Nintendo Switch 2. What's more, this new machine boasts more advanced performance than its big sister. An optimized version could therefore be possible. Regarding the next installment in the saga to be released, an announcement is expected soon, still according to rumors.
