Samsung has officially announced the date of its next Galaxy Unpacked event: the South Korean giant is giving us a date in July 2025 to discover a revolutionary “Ultra” experience. Called “The Ultra Experience is Ready to Unfold,” this conference could well bring its share of important announcements.
Like every year during the summer, Samsung organizes an unmissable event for its users and technology fans. This 2025 edition should continue this tradition with highly anticipated announcements around the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip ranges.
What to expect from the “Ultra” experience announced by Samsung?
There is no doubt that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be the star of the Samsung event. The new foldable phone should benefit from the following advances:
- An even thinner design (between 3.9 and 4.5 mm when opened)
- An 8-inch main screen
- A 6.5-inch secondary screen
- A Snapdragon 8 Elite chip
- A 200 MP main camera inherited from the Galaxy S25 Ultra
Samsung is also multiplying the teasers around the term "Ultra", which suggests that this model could officially adopt the name Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra.
Samsung could also take advantage of the event to renew its connected accessories. We hope to see the arrival of the updated Galaxy Buds earphones, as well as the new generation of Galaxy Watch, with potentially a Galaxy Watch 8 Classic.
This announcement comes in a very intense competitive context: Apple is reportedly preparing (perhaps finally) its foldable iPhone, while Google should soon present its Pixel 10 Pro Fold, the first elements of which were unveiled last March. Even “smaller” manufacturers like Honor are innovating in this area by creating a “foldable” even thinner than the latest Samsung. Other brands like Xiaomi with its Mix Fold 5 for next year or Huawei with a new iteration of its Mate XT (a triple-screen smartphone) should also offer new products, thus reinforcing the importance of this conference.
So see you on July 9, 2025 to follow this conference live, which promises to be full of new features and surprises. As always, Phonandroid will be at the forefront to bring you all the major announcements from this Galaxy Unpacked.
