A new free game to keep for life via Steam
The teams at Ritual Games and GrabTheGames have decided to give you a gift this week! They're offering you a game that smells of retro gaming, namely Paradox Soul. Launched thanks to a Kickstarter, the title is now living its life on Steam and is just waiting for you to add it to your backlog for free until June 17th, 7 p.m. maximum.
Paradox Soul presents itself as a 2D indie metroidvania. You play as Alli Rose, a researcher who stumbles upon a testing center shrouded in mystery, where an evil resides to be fought! With a neat pixel art design and an oppressive atmosphere, it offers boss fights and secrets to uncover. Steam users have rated it "average," but this offer gives you the chance to make a discovery without having to spend a penny.
Four great free games to try this weekend
In addition to giving you Paradox Souls, Steam is launching a new free game tryout weekend. In total, four generally popular titles are waiting for you. Until next Monday, June 16, you can access them without paying anything. What's more, if you enjoy the adventure, everyone can benefit from promotions that extend for a few days after the trial ends!
- Barony: cooperative first-person roguelike in a medieval fantasy universe with a Minecraft-like graphic style.
- Hell Let Loose: multiplayer FPS inspired by RTS, taking place in the heart of World War II for battles with up to 100 players.
- Stardeus: manage a space colony that must survive in a crashed ship while ensuring everyone's safety.
- Towerborne (free until June 18): a light adventure in a fantasy world where you must, alone or in multiplayer, defend the Belfry from the dangers that are approaching.
