The free Epic Games Store games for the week of June 5 to 12, 2025, will be removed starting this Thursday at 4:59 p.m. If you're interested in art direction, Ogu and the Secret Forest, a 2D puzzle adventure game, offers a pretty cool one with hand-drawn characters. It's free for a few hours alongside the FPS Deathloop, which takes the time loop concept to its own. Two new free Steam games, including one you can keep for life, are also available now. Go for it!
Two free games on Steam
Like every week, you can play games of various genres for free on PC via the Epic Games Store or Steam. Most of the time, there are no conditions to fulfill, other than going to the platform before the deadline to claim what's due. Except, of course, when it's a free trial and not a title to keep in your library for life. This week, we have both scenarios with a very recent independent production to add to your game library, but also another software to test for several days. Here are the two new free Steam games.
Seasonala Cemetery
If you like cozy games, Seasonala Cemetery is waiting for you now on Steam, but be careful. While the overall atmosphere is chill, to say the least, the title still evokes the theme of death. It is indeed a "meditative experience that invites players to explore the serene beauty of a living cemetery. A poignant reflection on life and death." You can visit this place where the deceased rest at different times, in summer and winter, interact with NPCs, animals, collect objects (stones, flowers, pine cones) to place on the tombstones, or simply listen to the ambient sounds. Seasonala Cemetery is available on Steam and you can keep it for life.
Construction Simulator
In a radically different genre, Steam lets you become a construction contractor for a limited time with Construction Simulator. "Realize your ambition to become a renowned construction contractor by bringing your company to life with the help of Hape, your mentor." As in all simulators, you will fully experience this profession, with its good and bad sides. Across two maps, located in Germany and the United States, you will have to carry out various projects with more than 90 contracts to complete to grow the company. The game has a campaign and is playable for free on Steam until June 16, 2025.
