Sydney Sweeney's fans are likely to rush to buy her new product, which the actress will soon launch. After promoting a brand of soaps and deodorants for men, the Euphoria star will be marketing a rather unusual product.
Sydney Sweeney, the star who makes her fans fantasize
If you've watched the series Euphoria or the first season of The White Lotus, then you know the young actress Sydney Sweeney. Her role in the HBO series lu earned her an Emmy nomination in 2022, and her performances in The Handmaid's Tale and her appearance in Quentin Tarantino's film Once Upon a Time ... In Hollywood (which is getting a sequel) have helped her gain recognition in Hollywood. She works both in front of the camera and behind it, producing feature films such as the horror film Immaculée. This year, Sydney Sweeney will star in The Housemaid alongside Amanda Seyfried, which is scheduled for release this Christmas. She is multiplying her film projects but is also engaging in surprising collaborations.
Last October, the 27-year-old actress agreed to lend her image to make an advertisement for Dr. Squatch, a brand of soaps and deodorants for men. She could be seen bathing in a bubble bath to praise the shower gel used by addressing "dirty little boys".
Very quickly, the video was quick to get a reaction from internet users, especially male users, asking if it was possible and for how much, to buy the bath water.
It didn't take much for the men's cosmetics brand to react and respond to the actress's fans. Indeed, Dr. Squatch has just announced that it is once again collaborating with the actress to offer a soap made from Sydney Sweeney's bathwater.
Titled Sydney's Bathwater Bliss, this soap will be available for sale in a very limited edition starting June 6. Only 5,000 copies will be sold at a price of $8 each.
As the actress explains on her Instagram account: "You kept asking me about my bathwater after the Dr. Squatch ad ... so we kept it."
For its part, the brand presents this soap as "the perfect alliance of the two most beautiful places on the planet: nature and Sydney Sweeney's bathtub" and is organizing a contest. By following the Instagram account and liking the post while leaving a comment, 100 winners will be randomly drawn to receive a free soap.
Sydney Sweeney is not the first to offer this kind of product. Influencers like Ruby Nikara and Belle Delphine have sold their bath water. Gwyneth Paltrow marketed a candle with a very particular scent.
