Lenovo's new Android tablet combines solid technical specifications and a pleasant interface, while remaining under 400 euros. Despite a few compromises, the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro has strong enough arguments to join our buying guide for the best tablets in 2025.
A very solid Android tablet
As we highlighted in our Lenovo Idea Tab Pro review, the tablet won us over with its design and careful finishing. It made a good impression on us once in hand, particularly thanks to its more than respectable build quality for its price range. In addition, its screen displays an excellent contrast ratio, which is always good to take for better visual comfort, whether watching videos or browsing the Web.
On the software side, the interface (Lenovo ZUI 17 under Android 15) is clear, fluid and easy to use. Thanks to MediaTek's Dimensity 8300 chip, overall performance is also there: for web browsing, streaming or light office work, the tablet responds without any noticeable slowdown.
Some limitations, but good value for money
Obviously, the tablet is far from perfect. Our 01Lab, for example, noted a lower brightness compared to some competitors like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus, which can be annoying outdoors or in a very bright room. Added to this is a slightly lower battery life and slow charging, two points to keep in mind if you plan to use it intensively outside the home.
Despite these limitations, the overall experience remains positive. For less than 400 euros, the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro keeps its promises and offers a serious alternative to more expensive models. It therefore naturally finds its place in our buying guide for the best tablets of 2025, particularly for users looking for a slate with good value for money.
