Nothing is preparing to launch its first-ever headphones. But online leaks already reveal a stunning design, combining transparency, retro shapes, and unexpected details. A model that, true to the brand's DNA, will clearly not go unnoticed.
Since its creation, Nothing has established itself as a brand that focuses as much on design as on technology. After instantly recognizable headphones and smartphones, the brand is preparing to expand its range with wireless headphones. And as is often the case with this brand, appearance plays a key role. The leaks reveal an unusual product, well before its official presentation.
Named Headphone (1), this first over-ear headset is expected to be unveiled in early July, alongside the next Nothing smartphone. However, numerous images and videos have already been shared on X and Instagram. They show an original design, with translucent shells and an unusual earphone shape, a "squircle," that is, somewhere between a square and a circle. We also note the presence of a 3.5 mm jack port, an increasingly rare detail in the audio world. Note that the Nothing Phone (3), expected the same day, could abandon the Glyph system, one of the brand's most distinctive visual signatures.

The Nothing Headphone (1) adopts a retro-transparent style and clearly visible buttons
The images reveal two colors — black and white — as well as a design divided into two materials: metal at the base and plastic at the top, reminiscent of an audio cassette. Several buttons are visible on the shells, including two on the side and one on the external surface. According to a Nothing manager, each button would have a distinct shape, to facilitate blind use. We also see the “Sound by KEF” logo, confirming the collaboration with the British brand specializing in high-end audio.
Although the headphones are wireless, the presence of a jack plug allows for wired use, with potentially better sound quality and without depending on the battery. The headphones do not appear to be foldable, according to the first images. Just like with the Nothing Ear headphones, the brand returns to its roots: a singular design, bold choices, and a desire to stand out. The expected price would be around €299, which places these headphones in the high-end mainstream segment.
