After Predator vs. Wolverine and Predator vs. Black Panther, Marvel Comics concludes its crossover with Predator kills the Marvel Universe.
The Predators vs. the Marvel Universe
Since the beginning of the year, the Predators have explored the Marvel Comics universe through a series of stories, each more exciting than the last. It all started with Predator vs. Wolverine. Then, the famous alien went to the universe of Wakanda with Predator vs. Black Panther, before finally taking on the powerful Peter Parker in Predator vs. Spider-Man.
This month, writer Benjamin Percy concludes his crossover with Predator Kills the Marvel Universe. In a press release, Benjamin Percy commented on his project:
This title? This is not a bad joke, this comic is going to hurt. Your favorite heroes and villains will fall. But others will join forces to rise up against this new threat. The Predator King is here. The Yautja have taken possession of the Vibranium. And Earth is now their hunting ground.
Indeed, contrary to popular belief, the name of these famous aliens is not the Predator but the Yautja. In Predator vs Black Panther, the Yautja have managed to steal Vibranium. An acquisition that makes them even more dangerous.
Here is the official synopsis of Predator Kills the Marvel Universe:
It's the bloody kickoff to an epic battle between the Predators and the Marvel heroes. A Predator king, emboldened by his new Vibranium arsenal, aided by an unexpected ally, launches an all-out invasion of Earth, claiming our planet as his hunting ground. It's hard to know who will survive this confrontation as the entire Marvel Universe finds itself in the Predators' sights.
The first issue of this crossover event is expected on August 3 in US newsstands, followed by issue #2 on September 17.
