Big success for TF1+ one year after its launch

Many people have succumbed to the charms of TF1+ last year. On average, the streaming platform launched in January 2024 had 33 million annual streamers, according to the quarterly results revealed by the group. In terms of consumption, it is a very good year with 1.2 billion hours viewed over the entire year, which makes it one of the most popular streaming services in France (1.5 times more than the consumption of the second player in the market, notes TF1).

Many pairs of eyes on TF1+

TF1+ started with 15,000 hours of programs, a catalog that has doubled in size since then. In addition to its own content, the platform also offers series, films and documentaries from other channels, services and publishers such as Deezer, L’Équipe, Le Figaro and Arte. In terms of awareness, TF1+ can boast a solid score of 78% — that’s 5 points more than during the first measurement in February 2024.

In homes with a connected TV, the TF1+ application is “first visible” for 58% of them. That is to say, the app is immediately available from the home screen. The group's target was 55% at the end of last year. TF1+, largely financed by advertising, also recorded a turnover of 146 million euros, or 39% more than a year ago.

TF1+, which replaces MyTF1 and TF1Max, is accessible from all operators' boxes as well as in the form of a standalone application for iOS, Android and the main operating systems of streaming boxes and connected TVs. In addition to free access, the service offers a paid subscription (€5.99 per month or €59.99 per year) that removes advertising.
