It seems that nothing can stop Microsoft from releasing all their exclusives on other platforms. After Forza Horizon 5, Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle, Doom: The Dark Ages and The Outer Worlds 2, all expected this year on PS5, Microsoft could also release a compilation of the first three Gears of War in a remastered version, with a Day One release on Sony's console.
Gears of War on PS5?
Once again, it is the insider eXtas1s, who was the first to confirm the arrival of Forza Horizon 5 on PS5 (and soon on Switch 2) which announces in its latest video, that Microsoft would also have plans to release a compilation with the remasters of Gears of War (2006), Gears of War 2 (2008) and Gears of War 3 (2011) which should land simultaneously on Xbox Series X/S, PC and PS5 at a date that is currently unknown.
This therefore seems to be the logical continuation of recent rumors, according to Jez Corden, a journalist for the Windows Central media outlet, who claims that the Halo Master Chief Collection should also arrive soon (but not in the near future) on PS5.
For the moment, we don't have any more information, but with the arrival of the next installment in the Gears of War series, this would make even more sense. According to the latest rumors, there are several titles that could arrive in the months to coming to PS5 and even Nintendo Switch2, including:
- Fallout 4 (Switch 2)
- Starfield (PS5 and Switch 2)
- Halo: The Master Chief Collection (PS5 and Switch 2)
- Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (PS5 and Switch 2)
- Diablo IV (Switch 2)
- Next Call of Duty game (PS5 and Switch 2) – confirmed on PS5
- Forza Horizon 5 (PS5 and Switch 2) – confirmed on PS5
- Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga (PS5)
- Age of Mythology (PS5)
- Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle (PS5) – confirmed
