You can now play your Nintendo DS games online and with multiple people from your iPhone. Riley Testut, the developer of the Delta emulator for iOS, has just officially announced it. This online multiplayer mode, still in beta, will be deployed on a larger scale to all users in the coming weeks.
Online multiplayer for Nintendo DS games on iPhone
In a post published on the Bluesky account of the Alt Store, the developer of the Delta emulator indicated that the online multiplayer mode will be available to everyone with the deployment of version 1.7 of the emulator. He also specifies that in order to make the configuration of the online multiplayer mode as simple as possible, it is now no longer necessary to manually modify the DNS to connect to third-party WFC servers. The emulator now allows you to choose to connect to one of the three most popular servers from the settings
This update is also an opportunity for the emulator to allow you to modify the settings specific to each game, but also to be able to select the skin to apply when a controller is connected. Finally, the option to take screenshots is now always accessible from the Pause menu.
As a reminder, Delta is able to emulate games from several Nintendo consoles, such as the NES, the Super NES, the Nintendo 64, the Game Boy (original, color and Advance) as well as the Nintendo DS. The beta version of Delta 1.7 is available now on the Alt Store as well as on the Alt Store Pal for both classic members and Patreon members.
