Developed and published by Aladdin X, it is a puzzle game with cute designs that asks you to stack fruits, then merge them when they are identical, in order to reach the next level. The ultimate reward, the one that signifies your victory, is symbolized by a watermelon, which gave its name to the game.
This is obviously a title that has gone viral thanks to social networks and especially the livestream. It is to because of him that Tears of the Kingdom only ranks second. It must also be said that the prices of the two games are not equal, so the investment is greater for the latest Zelda. Its sales should continue to increase in the long term, unlike Suika Game. In third place, we find Pikmin 4, closely followed by Super Mario Bros. Wonder. one might have imagined the opposite, but the little creatures were a few months ahead of the mustachioed plumber.
Japan and its video game influence
There is no mention of any regional ranking, but some of these titles seem to stick more closely to the consumption habits of the Japanese public. Even today, they are among the biggest players on Nintendo consoles, so their uses naturally permeate the global ranking.
