This new collection inspired by the fourth generation features Pokémon and trainers that fans love, but there are still a few iconic creatures missing. Some legendaries have not had the chance to obtain EX cards of the most beautiful effect... Or at least for now. Indeed, Pokémon TCG Pocket has just revealed a first loot event with an exclusive Cresselia-EX card at stake.
How to participate in this event?
From February 3 to February 17 (at 6:59 a.m. French time), the “Solo Battles” tab of the mobile game welcomes a new wave of clashes with Cresselia as the star. By winning these duels, fans of this moonlight Pokémon can hope to win a Cresselia-ex promotional card exclusively available for this occasion. As a reminder, promo cards are not eligible for trades, so you will have to collect this card before the end of the event or it will disappear. Each fight requires vitality event, which can be charged up to 5 units with specific hourglasses or by letting a few hours pass.
These new promotional boosters contain one card among five new cards to unlock: Turtwig, Elekable, Fiendfire, Skarmory and Cresselia-ex. The last one being the rarest, but also the most interesting from a competitive point of view. With its Lunar Plumage ability, Cresselia-ex is able to heal 20 points of damage each time a psychic energy is attached to it. from the Energy Zone. Adding to that the healing from potions, Cresselia-ex promises to be quite the tank.
What is the best strategy to adopt?
During event battles, only the maximum difficulty allows you to win a booster for each victory. To avoid wasting your event vitality stupidly, remember to only launch this variant of the duel once it is unlocked. In addition, no vitality is consumed in the event of defeat: so do not hesitate to give up if the game is not in your favor.
Cresselia-ex has a weakness to darkness. To make victory easier, we recommend using one of the new cards from the Space-Time Clash set, such as Dimoret-ex or Darkrai-ex.
