A little less than a year after its last ID@Xbox conference, Microsoft has revealed the broadcast of a new live event, scheduled for Monday, April 29 at 7 p.m. (French time). This presentation, once again organized in partnership with IGN, will be an opportunity for the manufacturer to offer unpublished extracts of highly anticipated independent games, among other surprises. Last July, spectators were able to discover images of Axiom Verge 2 and Sea of Stars.
This time, Xbox is already promising information about Vampire Survivors, Dungeons of Hinterberg, 33 Immortals and Lost Records Bloom & Rage. While this program already has enough to get gamers passionate about indie productions excited, their eyes are first and foremost riveted on the famous Hollow Knight: Silksong. A notable absentee from the presentations of recent years, it is certain that Team Cherry's title will make its next appearance at an Xbox event, but which one?
A close collaboration via Game Pass
During the broadcast of the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase in June 2022, Microsoft created a surprise by inviting Silksong to the festivities and reserving a special place for it on Xbox. It was then revealed that this second opus of Hollow Knight would make its entrance into the Game Pass on the day of its release, initially planned in the next twelve months according to the format of the conference.
But as the fateful date approached a year later, the developers finally revealed that the title had been delayed again. This collaboration via Game Pass and the announcement of a release window during a previous Xbox event nevertheless suggests that the title's next appearance will be under the same conditions. How to follow the new conference?
The live presentation will take place on Monday, April 29 at 7 p.m. (French time), and will be broadcast via the various channels of IGN, the event's partner. It will therefore be possible to follow the announcements via the Twitch and YouTube channels of the specialized media, as well as their X and Twitter pages. For the moment, Xbox France has not yet communicated a French broadcast channel, but it is not impossible that the conference will be invited in parallel on the French channels of the manufacturer.
Let's hope that this time, Hollow Knight: Silksong makes a real appearance to put an end to the interminable running gag as well as the sadness of the players after each conference marked by the absence of Hornet.
