Last February, Microsoft's gaming subscription focused on its most mature players. At the top of the monthly selection, subscribers could find titles such as Resident Evil 3, Madden NFL 24 and Maneater. Although we can note the inclusion of PlateUp! and Bluey: The Video Game, family productions were far from being predominant. In March, however, the Redmond firm reversed the trend by offering games designed for an ever more diverse audience of gamers. Here is what what Xbox Game Pass subscribers can expect this month.
After being revealed at the end of February as the first title in the upcoming selection, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun kicks off the March festivities today. This FPS, loosely inspired by the classic Doom episodes, invites players to descend the monster through increasingly fast-paced and adrenaline-filled levels. This title can be found in the Xbox, PC and Cloud catalogs. You may be wondering where The “general audience” experiences we talked about earlier have passed. They will be arriving in dribs and drabs over the next two weeks according to the following schedule:
- Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun (Cloud, Console, and PC) – available now
- PAW Patrol World (Cloud, Console, and PC) – March 7
- SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated (Cloud, Console, and PC) – March 12
- Control Ultimate Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) – March 13
- No More Heroes 3 (Cloud, Console, and PC) – March 14
- Lightyear Frontier (Game Preview) (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) – March 19
- MLB The Show 24 (Cloud and Console) – March 19
Little ones can have fun discovering the latest video game adaptation of PAW Patrol, while families can have fun explore the world of SpongeBob SquarePants in the excellent remake of the platformer Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated. Otherwise, Control Ultimate Edition and No More Heroes 3 will also be essential this month.
