Do you have a Samsung smartphone? Here is when the one UI 7.0 update will be available on your mobile

The first devices compatible with One UI 7.0 will receive the update starting this April, Samsung announces. The end of a long wait for owners of the brand's smartphones and tablets.

The update to One UI 7.0 has been delayed, very delayed, but its deployment is finally imminent. Samsung has published an official availability schedule on its official Czech website. It is likely that users in France will receive the new version on the same dates as those announced here.

As is often the case with this type of update One UI 7, a major update, will be rolled out in waves. Recent high-end smartphones will be served first, followed by slightly older devices and premium tablets. For mid- and entry-level devices, the manufacturer is still not providing any information.

One UI 7.0 is finally arriving on the first compatible smartphones and tablets

So here's what we know about today:

• One UI 7 will be released on April 10, 2025, for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
• One UI 7 will be released on April 14, 2025, or later, for the Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S10.
• One UI 7 will be released on April 21, 2025, or later, for the Galaxy Tab S9.
• One UI 7 will be released in late April 2025 for the Galaxy Tab S8.

Owners of these devices can finally see things more clearly and hope to benefit from the update within a few days. Samsung took much longer than usual to deliver this new version, based on Android 15, while Android 16 is already at an advanced stage of development. We expected to see One UI 7.0 arrive quickly after the release of the Galaxy S25, which was delivered directly under One 7, but we had to be more patient than expected.

One UI 7.0 is a major update to Samsung's overlay, undoubtedly one of the most important since the transition from TouchWiz to One UI. It brings many interface changes and new animations to improve the feeling of fluidity of the system, a criticism that could be addressed to One UI faces the advances of the competition in this area.
