Elden Ring Nightreign finally offers a release date

The long-awaited moment has arrived. Without a glare. Bandai Namco lifts the veil on the release date of Elden Ring Nightreign, the multiplayer spin-off planned for this year. Revealed at The Game Awards 2024, the title now offers a definitive release date on consoles and PC. Nightreign will be playable from May 30 on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series and PC.

To do this, you do not need to own the game Elden Ring released in 2022, nor its DLC Shadow of the Erdtree released last year. Nightreign is a completely standalone adventure, set in the same universe, but following a completely different story from the first title in the franchise. The goal is to enjoy an online multiplayer cooperation mode of up to 3 players, which was not possible in the first game.

Each player will have to choose a character and a class that will allow them to overcome the challenges of the dangerous world around them. Every night, a different boss appears and the cycle begins again. The only downside is that we do not have access to a new trailer. Bandai Namco remains discreet about the gameplay and the visual universe of its next game, and we understand this given the anticipation on the side players.

Prices and editions

This good news is accompanied by the opening of pre-orders on the Bandai Namco website and at retailers. The studio is therefore taking the opportunity to reveal more offers concerning the release of Elden Ring Nightreign. Here are the editions offered as well as their prices. Please note that editions other than the standard one are currently only offered by Bandai Namco, and its online store is undergoing maintenance until April.

• Standard Edition: Available in digital format for $39.99.

• Standard Edition: physical: Offered at 41.99€ for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions.

• Deluxe Edition: No price yet, includes the base game, access to the DLC at coming soon, the digital artbook and a mini digital soundtrack.

• Seekers Edition:No price yet, includes the base game in a SteelBook, access to the DLC in coming soon, the digital artbook and the digital soundtrack.

• Écollector's edition: Priced at 209.99€, it includes a Deluxe edition, a 25 cm statue of the character Sylvestre, a Steelbook, a hardcover artbook and eight cards of the “Azotes de la Nuit”.
