Epic Games Store: € 60 free games this week

This week, the Epic Games Store is spoiling its players by offering two games for free for the price of one, and not just any games. They are part of two diametrically opposed universes since they are World War Z: Aftermath and Garden Story. They can be recovered for free on the Epic Games Store until February 27, 2025 at 17 hours.

World War Z: Aftermath is the more advantageous of the two since it normally costs around 40 euros. It is the ultimate version of the famous cooperative shooter inspired by the eponymous film. Plunging players into a world ravaged by a zombie apocalypse, the title offers missions through emblematic locations such as Rome and the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia. Players can team up for up to four online to take on massive hordes of zombies while completing various objectives.

This edition includes all of the content from the Game of the Year edition. Notable additions include an enhanced melee system that lets you decimate “zekes” with unique moves and weapons like the sickle and cleaver. Additionally, an immersive first-person mode offers a new perspective for veterans of the game.

In contrast Garden Story is a charming adventure game where you play as Concord, a young grape newly appointed Guardian of the Grove. Your mission is to restore and protect your community from an invading threat. The game combines exploration, light combat, and community management, inviting players to rebuild structures, help residents, and repel opposing forces. With its colorful pixel art aesthetic and soothing soundtrack, Garden Story offers a much more relaxing experience than Epic Games' first game.

How do you get these games for free?

To add these games to your library, simply log in to your Epic Games Store account and claim them before the deadline. Once added, they will remain in your collection forever, ready to be downloaded and played at any time, only through the Epic Games launcher. We already know that next week, players will be able to get their hands on Mages of Mystralia.

The mobile app continues to evolve

Several months ago, Epic Games was able to launch its mobile app on iOS and Android devices, allowing players on these platforms to access iconic proprietary titles, such as Fortnite, Fall Guys and Rocket League. While there were few games available at launch, Epic Games has just added a slew of titles, making the platform much more interesting. Here's everything that's been added recently:

Similar to PC, Epic Games is offering its mobile players the chance to get two games completely free, for life. These are the two installments of the Star Wars KOTOR saga. So don't hesitate to get your hands on them before March 20.
