At the end of 2024, Bethesda released Season 19 of Fallout76 and announced its ROAD MAP on the updates to come in the coming months. We discovered that a special event was expected for Season 20 in March 2025. Here we are now! And as expected, the ghouls will be arriving in Fallout 76 soon. Here is the schedule of festivities to coming for the months of March, April, May and June 2025!
Fallout 76: The Ghoul's Shard
On the program for this new season, four months under the sign of ghouls, these famous half-human, half-mutant creatures, well known and appreciated in the Fallout saga. At least, for the ghouls who are not wild. But for the occasion, no fear, since this new season will allow players to transform into ghouls!
This is clearly one of the most spectacular changes proposed in Fallout76 since its release in 2018. Thanks to the transformation into a ghoul, players will be able to absorb radiation and thus change their appearance. Bethesda specifies that if you do not adhere to your new physique and skills, it will be possible to return to your human appearance.
Among the upcoming events, this season 20 of Fallout 76 will offer a new limited-time seasonal event with the Big Bloom from April 29 to May 13. This is a small event, since it has been quite a while since there was an event during a season. As always, this new season will bring new items to the atomic shop. Otherwise, apart from that, we are entitled to a fairly basic season as we have been used to for several months now on Fallout 76.
Of course, in case you haven't understood, but this new season is dedicated to toxicity, radiation and diseases. Hence the possibility of transforming yourself into a ghoul! In itself, this season can bring something nice, but it remains quite weak and thin in content and the players begin to remain hungry.
