The Pegasus ceremony crowned the best French video game of the year. The big winner took the opportunity to scoop 4 awards in total. Here's who it is, along with the full list of winners.
The Pegases are to video games what the Oscars are to cinema. A ceremony focused on French production, although titles created outside our borders are also honored. The event was born in 2020. It is organized by the Academy of Video Game Arts and Techniques, whose more than 1,500 members vote in two rounds to designate the winners. The opportunity for players to discover names that are unknown to them, with the assurance that they have a quality justifying diving into it.
The 2025 edition of the Pégases was held on the evening of March 6, and we now know all the winners. Enough of the suspense, the game of the year returns its crown to someone who had lost it: Prince of Persia The Lost Crown. The surprise rebirth of the franchise in a form that was not expected has seduced critics and players alike and it is felt in its list of winners at the ceremony. The Ubisoft Montpellier game actually leaves with 4 statuettes in total.
