Jurassic Park Survival: development is advancing well

Jurassic Park Survival: development is advancing well

Since its announcement in December 2023 at The Game Awards, news has been scarce about the next Jurassic Park game, developed by Saber Interactive. Although recently, we learned that the story was in good hands and that there was some hope for a release in 2025.

Last year, the studio confirmed that the game was still in development and that it would become the studio's priority, alongside the remake of Star Wars KOTOR following the success of the fundraiser. A few days ago, Tim Willits, Saber's creative director, took to Twitter to confirm that all of the games announced by Saber were still in production and that their development was not threatened. This included Star Wars KOTOR and this Jurassic Park game.

Today, it's the executive producer at NBCUniversal Media who reveals new information.

Jurassic Park Survival: Development on track at the Motion Capture stage?

Jurassic Park Survival: development is advancing well

In a recent publication on LinkedIn, John Melchior, Executive Producer at NBCUniversal Media shared: information on the development and production of Jurassic Park Survival and confirms that he is "very enthusiastic" about the project:

These reassuring statements confirm that Motion Capture is underway and that Saber clearly intends to take its time to offer the best possible experience. The goal is therefore not to release the game as quickly as possible.

This is both good news, promising us to have a really good game, but on the other hand, it seems to confirm that the game will probably not be released this year. We will have to be patient.
