The Windows 11 24H2 update is now available on Windows Update for users who had a specific game installed on their PC.

Another game, Asphalt 8, was prone to recurring crashes. Since last October, Windows 11 24H2 was not available to Asphalt 8 players, but now the problem has finally been resolved.

You can now install the latest version of the operating system on your machine via Windows Update even if Asphalt 8 is on your PC. “To ensure your update experience, we have applied a compatibility block on devices running Asphalt 8. These devices will not be able to install Windows 11 version 24H2 via the Windows Update” release channel, Microsoft previously explained.
The publisher added that it recommended that affected users not attempt to manually update their system to version 24H2 using the Windows 11 Installation Assistant or the Media Creation Tool until this issue is resolved. This applies to anyone who cannot install Windows 11 24H2 on their device via Windows Update: this limitation exists for good reasons, and Unless you know what you're doing, it's best not to force an update.
