After several weeks of being on the verge of heart failure with each notification from Nintendo on social networks, the most impatient players can finally breathe. The Nintendo Switch 2 is official and will be presented in more detail during a dedicated Direct. This meeting is set for April 2 and promises to be full of great surprises. The Kyoto firm has already given us the gift of a few extracts from the new Mario Kart: enough to fuel the hype and impatience over the next few weeks, which promise to be very long.
But the wait will be worth it. Indeed, the Nintendo Direct on April 2 will be very quickly followed by a console discovery event in the heart of Paris. Like what was proposed for the first Switch in 2017, the manufacturer will set up shop at the Grand Palais to invite the public to get their hands on the new console. In our country, the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience will take place from Friday, April 4 to Sunday, April 6, 2025. If you live elsewhere in Europe, be aware that the cities of London, Berlin, Milan, Amsterdam and Madrid will all welcome the Switch 2 as well. The hardest part remains to be done. coming soon: the console test will be accessible by registration only and places are limited!
When and how to register for the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience?
To hope to discover the console before everyone else, the manufacturer invites us to its official website. Ticket registrations will open on January 17 at 3:00 PM (French time) and will close on January 26 at 11:59 PM. Please note that there is no need to rush: tickets will be awarded by random draw. So you will have to pray to your lucky star (preferably a Luma) to hope to end up on the VIP list.
Registration will be reserved for Nintendo Account holders, but don't panic. Unlike the Alarmo alarm clock, which is still reserved for Switch Online members, the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience event does not require a subscription to this subscription. Note, however, that it is only possible to register for one event of this kind in Europe: you will therefore not be able to tour the cities announced to extend your date with the Switch 2.
If you are drawn, you will receive a message on the email address associated with your Nintendo account. The manufacturer specifies that the email could unfortunately end up in the junk folders, and recommends adding the address [emailprotected] to the approved senders to avoid missing an invitation. Unfortunately, the losers of the draw will not be able to go on site, since no entry tickets will be distributed on the day of the event.
