Pokémon TCG Pocket: How to get all the secret insignia?

Pokémon TCG Pocket: How to get all the secret insignia?

The Pocket version of the Pokémon collectible card game has been part of our daily lives for several months now, and the main objective of this application is now very clear. It is a race for the most impressive virtual collection. So yes, Pokémon TCG Pocket offers fast and rather well-crafted battles, but it is clear that the developers are focusing above all on obtaining rare cards and other cosmetics. It is by giving us the hope of opening a lucky booster or making a fruitful miracle draw that the game pushes us to connect every day, despite the lack of obvious new features.

And unsurprisingly, this recipe is paying off. Even physical Pokémon cards are more popular than ever and are disappearing from shelves at high speed. If you are reading this, it is because you too (like many other players these days) have succumbed to acute collecting and are looking to obtain all the secret rewards in the game. Among the most sought-after, we find in particular the famous profile badges.

These rewards are among the most complex to obtain, since they require very specific but above all very rare cards. To help you in your quest, here is everything you need to know to obtain the hidden badges of the Fabulous Island and Space-Time Shock expansions.

Genetic Power and the Legendary Birds badge

The secret quest for the Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno badge is certainly the easiest to guess, but also the most laborious to complete. To display the famous legendary Pokémon on your player profile, you will need to collect their rainbow-bordered alternative cards (which, let's remember, have a drop rate of only 0.050%):

  • Electhor ex (2-star rarity)
  • Multres ex (2-star rarity)
  • Articuno ex (2-star rarity)

Mythic Island and the Celebi Badge

To complete the secret mission of the Mythic Island boosters – titled “Tales of Mythic Island” – and obtain the Celebi Badge, you will need to add four cards to your collection. Only two of them can be traded, while the other two have rarities too high to be eligible for the trade feature. Here are the cards you need:

  • Young Explorer (in its classic version of 2 diamond rarity, or full art 2 stars)
  • Fabulous Tile
  • Mew ex (2 star rarity, alternative design with rainbow borders)
  • Celebi ex (immersive version)

Space-Time Clash and the Garchomp Badge

The latest expansion, Space-Time Clash, also features its own Garchomp badge. Cynthia's iconic Pokémon is featured in a collection mission centered on the Sinnoh League champion. To complete this secret quest, you will need the following cards in the highest rarities:

  • Gastrodon (1-star rarity)
  • Lucario (1-star rarity)
  • Spiritomb (1-star rarity)
  • Garchomp (1-star rarity)
  • Cynthia (2-star full art rarity)

Triumphal Light and the Shaymin Badge

The Arceus-inspired booster set showcases Shaymin's celestial form with its hidden emblem. Unfortunately, the more expansions progress, the more cards are needed to obtain the famous reward. This time, you'll need to add no fewer than 7 cards to your collection. But rest assured: six of them are tradable.

  • Heatran (3-diamond rarity)
  • Palkia Origin Form (3-diamond rarity)
  • Dialga Origin Form (3-diamond rarity)
  • Giratina (3-diamond rarity)
  • Arceus ex (4-diamond rarity, higher rarities don't count here)
  • Shaymin (1-star rarity)
  • Celestia's Elder (2-star full art rarity)
