As usual, the design of the next Pixel 10, 10 Pro and 10 XL has been revealed ahead of time by the leaker OnLeaks and its partner Android Headlines. In broad terms, Google seems to want to keep the same basics as its predecessors. And for good reason, if the Pixel 9 marked 2024, it is above all by their refined and high-end design which finally had nothing to envy an iPhone 16 in terms of finishes.
But who says continuity, does not say hidden surprise. And precisely, the most accessible of the Pixel 10 would have a good one in its bag. If you look at its photo block on the back, still oblong in shape and distributing its modules on a horizontal bar, you will notice an addition in size. A third photo module would appear.
The leaker OnLeaks confirmed on his X account (Twitter) that it would indeed be a telephoto lens. The basic Pixel is already a benchmark in mid-range photography, the addition of a module capable of offering an optical zoom would complete this enviable position. This would also make it easier to distinguish it from the Pixel 9a, expected for spring 2025. Google has been struggling for several years to create a real upgrade between these two models.
Is it in old pots that we make the best Pixel?
According to the site where the images come from, the Pixel 10 would keep a rather compact format with a 6.3-inch screen. It would be barely thicker than the Pixel 9 at 8.6 mm thick. It would keep its flat edges and matte finish. Previous leaks established that the Pixel 10's chip, the Tensor G5, would finally move up a notch in performance by switching to the foundry that everyone wants, TSMC.
As for the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL, there would be no real visible new features in terms of design. Both appear more or less identical to their predecessors. Flat and shiny edges, 6.3 and 6.8 inches for the screens and three photo modules for the photo block. At first glance, the oblong hole piercing the latter would be slightly larger. The integrated thermometer would also still be part of it.
