The Streameur Amine Back on Twitch… but without subscribers

A few days ago, streamer Aminematue announced on X that he was permanently banned from Twitch. While wishing his subscribers a happy Ramadan, he disappeared from the social network without even giving an explanation for his ban, or even what he planned to do next. It is therefore with surprise to see that the content creator has been reinstated on the platform, only 6 days after the fact.

As many fans can point out, Twitch does not seem to have the same definition for the word “definitive”. Despite everything, Amine has still not spoken to explain the situation. The most likely option is that it was a simple mistake, or a misunderstanding, and that things were resolved internally. However, there is still one point to clarify, and as soon as possible.

2.4 million then… nothing more

Aminematue has indeed recovered his channel, but seems to have no more subscribers. When we look at the page, we are indeed dealing with the same person, his profile picture and his previous clips being present. But the account displays less than 15,000 followers at the time of writing, compared to 2.4 million previously. Unfortunately, no explanation, neither by Twitch nor by the streamer, has been shared. Those who support him are now calling for: resubscribe in order to completely restore the content creator's channel.

No doubt this must be a big disappointment for Aminematue. Thanks to his many subscribers, he had briefly managed to break the record for simultaneous viewers with his football match between French streamers and Spanish streamers. He was third in the ranking of the most followed French creators, just behind Squeezie and Gotaga. Suffice to say that rebuilding a community as strong will surely not be easy.

Twitch deserted

Aminematue is not the first streamer to fall victim to Twitch's rather strict policy. Recently, the Joueur du Grenier was also banned for a fairly long period of time because of a joke in bad taste. The trend is even that some streamers, very important for the platform, are tempted to look elsewhere. The latest is the famous Pokimane who deplores a masculinist atmosphere.

Competitors Kick and YouTube are thus recovering big names, through contracts or not, tired of a regulation called “arbitrary” and messy on the part of Twitch. The proof is with nudity, one day authorized, and the next completely prohibited. Amazon's platform is still the most popular and used, but with this tense climate, there is no guarantee that Amine will want to come back after his short break from the networks.
