The Nintendo Switch will soon celebrate its eighth anniversary. A long life for the hybrid console, which is why gamers around the world are waiting for the official announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2. The Kyoto firm has still not satisfied them, having unveiled last October a product that no one expected: the Nintendo Alarmo alarm clock.
At CES 2025, accessory manufacturer Genki took the lead by presenting what it described as a model of the Nintendo Switch 2 before disappearing from the show. Nintendo fans can still console themselves with a little dose of nostalgia that has just arrived on the Nintendo Music app.
The Zelda The Wind Waker soundtrack available on Nintendo Music
The Nintendo Music app now includes the official soundtrack of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. You can therefore treat yourself to exactly 3 hours and 40 minutes of pleasure thanks to the 133 tracks available. Remember that Nintendo Music also includes the OSTs of the games Mario, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem and Metroid. Note that you must have a Nintendo Switch Online account to enjoy the music streaming application.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, for its part, was first released on Nintendo GameCube in December 2002. In this open-world adventure, Link must travel from island to island since the Kingdom of Hyrule is almost completely submerged by the waters. Traveling by boat is part of the charm of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker in addition to the density of the adventure and of course, its music.
It is not for nothing that the game has received a Metacritic rating of 96 by the press (9/10 by players), like Tears of the Kingdom. In the history of the saga, The Wind Waker is only surpassed by Ocarina of Time (99) and Breath of Wild (97). In 2013, Nintendo released the remaster The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD on Wii U. There is still no Nintendo Switch version of the cult game directed by the legendary Eiji Aonuma.
