Vivo reveals his pro vision

Despite sales that are probably not at the level hoped for by Apple for its Vision Pro, the apple company must perhaps find it comforting that it was right on at least one point: the design of the headset does indeed inspire the competition! Samsung's Moohan project, the first headset under Android XR, thus borrows a certain number of characteristics from the Vision Pro. This is also the case with the Vivo Vision.

Like a family resemblance

This headset, unveiled during the Boao Forum organized in the Chinese city of the same name, also shares more than a family resemblance with the Vision Pro — in addition to its name… The headband The back and light shield are reminiscent of Apple's, the "big ski goggles" design too, there's even a wired battery. Vivo has clearly left aside the front screen, which isn't the Vision Pro's greatest achievement (it oddly displays the user's eyes).

Vivo reveals his pro vision

Vivo has been stingy with details. We know that it's a mixed reality headset, but we don't know anything about the device's ecosystem, the interface of its operating system (Android XR?), whether it will be possible to control it with your fingers, whether it's equipped with an eye-tracking system, its battery life, the quality of its internal screens, the price, or even availability!

That's a big roadmap for the manufacturer, who will give all the information by this summer. He specifies, however, that the headset will be a consumer device, and that it could also be used to "develop the brain and eyes of robots." Quite a program!
