This One UI update was long-awaited! Version 7 of Samsung's overlay, which is based on Android 15, was supposed to begin rolling out a few weeks ago. Unfortunately for users, a last-minute bug prevented the manufacturer from fully opening the tap. The manufacturer has hastily revised its schedule, with the first software deliveries scheduled for April.
The Korean group has kept its word: testimonies are piling up on social networks from users receiving One UI 7 for their smartphone! In this case, the first to be served are the Galaxy S24 (all models except the FE), Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. The rollout is clearly international.
If all goes well, the distribution of One UI 7 will continue until June. Next month, it will be the turn of devices released in the last three years, such as the Galaxy S21, S22, S23 or the Fold/Flip 3/4/5.
Users will be able to enjoy highly anticipated new features, such as AI Select, which adapts the selection of content to screen, writing and drawing assistants, unwanted sound suppression, and tight integration of Gemini.
