Nothing can stop the magic of Hogwarts Legacy. The hit game in the Harry Potter universe will officially return to Nintendo Switch 2. But that's not all. It has welcomed some great new features in recent months. However, not everything always works perfectly. The teams at Avalanche Software are therefore on hand to give it a good "Reparo" with an update. day that is coming very (very) soon.
Hogwarts Legacy has not finished surprising you
Clearly, the Hogwarts Legacy 2 project has not entirely diverted Avalanche from the first opus of what is on the way to becoming a license in several episodes. In fact, the game that has been a hit for two years now recently received a very large patch. This one was particularly aimed at implementing an official creator's kit, thus opening the door to mods on PC.
However, modding is a difficult aspect to Fully optimize so that everything works as it should. Even more so than for Hogwarts Legacy, this goes beyond the cosmetic. The Creator's Kit also allows you to create new quests, or even entire dungeons. Teams must therefore ensure the compatibility of player-created content.
What's more, it's always good to support a game, even a single-player game without multiplayer, like Hogwarts Legacy. Several fixes will soon be deployed. The goal? To continue improving the gaming experience, particularly in terms of performance, and to fix several bugs that would have been reported to the studio.
That's why Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. announced, just yesterday, that a new update will be coming imminently. That's an understatement, since the update is scheduled for today, Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 5 p.m.. It therefore concerns PC players, on Steam and Epic Games. So remember to download it the next time you want to launch Hogwarts Legacy.
