Since season 5 of LOL: Who Laughs Comes Out is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video, we wanted to rank the show's top 10 contestants. The 10 personalities who have made us laugh the most since the launch of the show presented by Philippe Lacheau.
10) François Damiens
In fact, we love François Damiens. It's hard to remain unmoved by his absurd, slightly redneck, and always provocative humor. Present in season 3, he unfortunately couldn't compete with the comic genius of Pierre Niney and Jonathan Cohen and he left the show too early.
9) Jérôme Commandeur
Present in season 4 of LOL, it's a bit of the same pattern for Jérôme Commandeur. It's hard to resist his silly little phrases, his unexpected puns, and his ultra-effective Joker card. Honestly, her time on LOL was way better than her entire series The Magical World of Jérôme Commandeur.
8) Audrey Lamy
She was the most resilient in season 4. She honored her big sister, Alexandra Lamy, winner of the first season. But this time, Audrey Lamy made us laugh a lot more than Alexandra. She took risks, often paying off, in this season 4 of LOL. Formidable, she spent the entire season scaring everyone away.
7) Marina Fois
"I laugh, I laugh, I laugh". Her cold, deadpan side, her voice, her way of attacking others, her unsettling humor, Marina Fois was one of the great figures of this season 4 of LOL.
6) Jérôme Niel
A member of the cast of this last season, it is not so much Jérôme Niel himself who is funny, but it is his relationship with Vincent Dedienne that has a crazy charm. The comedian spends his time teasing Dedienne. He tries as best he can, on a tightrope, to make the former columnist of Quotidien laugh. Except that at any moment, we know he could crack, we know he could lose. Jérôme Niel spends his entire show on the verge of bursting out laughing. And that is clearly hilarious. And his Joker card was still super effective.
5) Kyan Khojandi
He held the entirety of season 1 of LOL together. A season which is, clearly, the least successful of the series. It's thanks to Kyan that the show continued to exist on the platform. In fact, we literally only remember him from this first season. Don't you?
4) Fred Testot
Eccentric, creative, always looking for a new joke, Fred Testot is clearly the surprise of this season 5. We didn't expect such a performance from the comedian. As a clown on his electric bike, facing the camera to launch a podcast, in Mary Poppins mode with a bag full of accessories, frankly, Fred is a genius!
3) Vincent Dedienne
He's the star of this last season. Vincent Dedienne is incredibly effective. Funny, intelligent, quick-witted, his jokes seem to have been rehearsed for years. He has a crazy talent for improvisation and is capable of turning any situation to his advantage. Anyone who tries to play him will get stung. Finally, whoever tries it laughs and gets eliminated.
2) Jonathan Cohen
His duet with Pierre Niney in season 3 has become cult. The two actors offered an iconic performance. Having become a total cult classic thanks to Jonathan Cohen and Pierre Niney, this third season has become THE benchmark for LOL: who laughs, leaves. It must be said that the two actors made sparks fly.
1) Pierre Niney
He is the undisputed boss of LOL. He made season 3 a comedic monument. His imitation of Thomas Pesquet, his ability to play with his environment, his improvisations, each crazier than the last, his well-deserved victory, clearly Pierre Niney is the boss! And, thanks to LOL, he showed a whole new side of his character.
