All fans of the sitcom Malcolm are eagerly awaiting the release of the new episodes announced by Disney. A first photo has just been published and it should please all nostalgic fans.
Nearly 20 years after the series ended, Malcolm returns on Disney+
At the end of last year, Disney announced that the cult sitcom Malcolm (or Malcolm in the Middle in the original version) would be returning to the company's streaming platform. Nearly 20 years after its end of broadcast, the series that marked An entire generation will return to Disney+ with 4 new episodes.
For the occasion, almost the entire main cast of Malcolm has responded. Fans will be able to find its main actor, Frankie Muniz, who will be back with his parents, Hal and Lois, played by the excellent Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek. The public will be able to see Malcolm's two older brothers again, namely Francis and Reese, played by Christopher Kennedy Masterson and Justin Berfield respectively. Only the younger brother, Dewey, played at the time by Erik Per Sullivan, will not be part of the game. The latter will be replaced by Caleb Ellsworth-Clark, who has been seen in Fargo and The Expanse.
We know that new faces will be appearing in this revival with Anthony Timpano and Vaughan Murrae who will play Jamie and Kelly, the last two children of the family.
To justify the return of this cult series, Disney has revealed the synopsis in which Malcolm became the father of a daughter named Leah played by Keeley Karsten seen in The Fabelmans. Both will be "drawn into the family chaos when Hal and Lois demand their presence for their 40th wedding anniversary party".

Filming for this return of Malcolm, so eagerly awaited by long-time fans, began this month and Frankie Muniz has been treating Internet users on his X account. Indeed, the actor posted a photo taken on the sidelines of the shoot in which we can see him surrounded by Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek, his parents in the series. The photo is accompanied by a caption: "Always good to have Mom and Dad around! ".

The least we can say is that, looking at the photo, and despite the years that have passed, the three actors still seem as close as ever. For now, we still don't know the broadcast date of the new episodes of Malcolm. In the meantime, here are these 11 characters we'd really like to see again when the sitcom returns.
