In Japan, McDonald's just released this Wednesday, April 16, a collaboration with Detective Conan, the cult manga of our childhood written and drawn by Gōshō Aoyama. This 90s work also exists in the form of a Japanese animated television series, which you can (re)discover by streaming on Apple TV or Prime Video. As for the fast food chain, it is a variation of Chicken Tatsuta, a great Japanese classic of a fried chicken sandwich marinated in soy sauce, which will be temporarily available on the menu. In his "Gohan" version, the bread is replaced by a toasted rice cake.
