Nvidia has released a brand new patch for its latest RTX 50XX graphics cards. The update fixes a number of bugs, including one related to GPU temperature measurement and another that causes a black screen. It is therefore strongly recommended to download it quickly; here is the procedure to: follow.
The release of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 50XX graphics cards comes with its share of problems, such as bugs that cause a black screen or even issues with the temperature sensor. A new patch that fixes these issues has just been released.
This is hotfix 576.26, which fixes these issues as well as various bugs encountered in the game. For example, some maps crashed in Black Myth Wukong when the hero transformed, and textures flickered in Resident Evil 4 Remake and Forza Horizon 5. Annoying.
Nvidia fixes many bugs related to its cards
Other annoying bugs were ruining users' lives. For example, owners of LG monitors connected to the card in Display Port 2.1 could have black screens. Furthermore, the last hotfix disabled the temperature sensor on some cards, which could, in the worst case, cause overheating. Fortunately, all of this is now corrected with this patch.
This is the fifth hotfix published by Nvidia since the release of the RTX 50XX series, which reflects a relatively eventful start to the life of the range. Let's hope that gamers will have more peace of mind in the future. Updating your Nvidia graphics card is simple. You already need to Download the Nvidia App tool, which centralizes all the use of your GPU. Once done, here are the steps to follow:
- Click on Drivers in the left menu
- If the driver is available, the Download button will appear
- Once the patch is downloaded, click on the Install button
- Then let yourself be carried away. Be careful, it is not recommended to use your PC during the installation. If your screen is flashing, this is normal.
Installing these hotfixes is strongly recommended. Likewise, it is preferable to keep your graphics card up to date to correct known bugs and take advantage of the latest innovations in recent games.
