While we're used to discovering the new games arriving in PS Plus every month, as well as the games offered every month to PS5 subscribers, Sony announced today that 22 games will leave the catalog next month. This represents one of the biggest updates service with many major titles that will no longer be available in a few days.
PS Plus: around twenty games are leaving the service
Since the launch of its new formula, PlayStation Plus has offered many advantages such as the catalog of retro games (PS1, PS2, PSP, PS3, PS VITA), but also a catalog of recent games (PS4, PS5 and PSVR2) allowing access to these numerous titles at no additional cost.
Each month, Sony generally adds around ten games to the various catalogs. But, in May, around twenty games will leave the service, including:
- Grand Theft Auto V – PS4 and PS5 Bundle
- MotoGP 24 – PS5 and PS4
- The Sims 4: Island Living – PS4
- Walkabout Mini Golf – PS5
- Synth Riders – PSVR2
- Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord – PSVR2
- Before Your Eyes – PSVR 2
- The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – PSVR2
- The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution – PSVR2
- LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 – PS4
- Stranded: Alien Dawn – PS4 and PS5
- The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame – PS5
- Ghostrunner – PS5 and PS4
- Payday 2: Crimewave Edition – PS4
- Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night – PS4
- Journey to the Savage Planet – PS5 and PS4
- Portal Knights – PS4
- Enter the Dungeon – PS4
- Batman: Arkham Knight – PS4
- inFAMOUS Second Son – PS4
- Resistance: Fall of Man – PS3
- Resistance 2 – PS3
You have until May 20 to download and enjoy these games. After that date, they will no longer be available on PS Plus. And some titles, like Residence and Resistance 2 will no longer be accessible at all.
