Yesterday, Monday, April 28, a massive power outage hit the Iberian Peninsula: tens of millions of homes and businesses, as well as public transportation and lighting, were left without power. 55 million people were affected for several hours between Spain and Portugal. The cause of the outage remains unknown, but Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced the creation of a commission of inquiry overseen by the Ministry of Ecological Transition. No more electricity, no more mobile phones, no more internet... A trip down memory lane that greatly amused French internet users!

Did you know? In Spain, it is traditional for people who have been rescued after being stuck in an elevator to sing a little song.
